Email SupportYes. Notes stay on your device by default. Voice transcription runs on-device via Apple's Speech framework. Full details in our privacy policy.
iPhone Settings → tap your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Echo → Cancel. Your Pro features stay active until the current period ends.
Open Echo → Menu (top-left) → Upgrade to Pro → Restore Purchase. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID that purchased the subscription.
Make sure Echo has microphone and speech recognition permission: iPhone Settings → Echo → enable Microphone + Speech Recognition. Requires iOS 17 or later.
Add at least one note in the app, then remove and re-add the widget. iOS occasionally needs a nudge to refresh. If it persists, email us.
Echo stores notes locally. If you deleted the app without Cloud Sync enabled, notes cannot be recovered — we have no copy. With Cloud Sync (Echo Pro), notes are in your iCloud and restore automatically on re-install.

Yes. Menu → Settings → Export. You'll get a JSON file with all notes, tags, and timestamps.
